Conditioning Skin Oil
skin oil is high in antioxidants and it is a great skin conditioner. It complements our Antioxidant Skin
Tonic; together they will give your skin the food it needs to stay supple, healthy and protected. The skin tonic
is water-based and together with the skin oil it is a wonderful nourishing skin treatment with nothing
artificially added - just pure skin food - a potion which is good enough to eat.
If it is good
enough to eat, just think what it can do for your skin. The skin is the largest organ of the body and we have to
be mindful of what we put on it. Whatever goes on your skin will ultimately be absorbed into your body. By using
our Antioxidant Skin Tonic together with the Conditioning Skin Oil your skin will be getting the best possible
nourishment. The antioxidants in both products will be protecting your skin against the UV rays and the aging
process. The other ingredients which are water and oil based, together will accelerate the absorption into the
skin and give it an additional boost.
Directions to make the Conditioning Skin Oil
Use an oil that is not easily oxidised. Good oils are
coconut, olive, macadamia or almond oil. You may also use a combination of these oils. Experiment with your
choice of oil but remember coconut oil is solid in cool temperatures. Do not use oils that are high in
polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as sunflower, safflower or canola oil as they easily oxidise and may then
contribute to skin cancer.
In a glass jar (preferabely a dark glass jar or keep
it in a dark place) mix any oil you like about 250ml. You can purchase the Astaxanthin from the internet
I got mine from
Prick the Astaxanthin capsules (use approximately 20 mg) and
squeeze the content into the jar with the oil.
Prick Vitamin E
capsules (use approximately 2000) mg and add it to the oil/astaxanthin mix.
Shake and mix well.
How to use the Conditioning Skin Oil and the
Antioxidant Skin Tonic together
need to make a dilution from the Antioxidant Skin Tonic (see instructions) rub it into your skin, followed by
the Conditioning Skin Oil.
important to apply the Antioxidant Skin tonic first and then the Conditioning Skin Oil. This way it will get
absorbed into the skin. If you put the oil first and the water-based skin tonic after then
it will mainly stay on top of the skin and eventually rub off on clothing. Use the oil sparingly after
the tonic has partly dried.
To mix them into one bottle is not advisable as
water and oil don’t mix and the same will happen if applied to the skin.
